Invisible Rooms

The place I visit the most in New York is the Metropolitan Museum of Art. One of these day, as I was walking in the galleria of pre-columbian american arts, I realized how the figures seemed to be in a Francis Bacon painting. His figures and these ancient artifacts were inhabiting some sort of mental space, as if in a room created by the mind, an Invisible Room.
